Bobby was in Dublin last week for the latest ReBo Board meeting. He also attended the Irish League of Credit Union’s AGM in Limerick, where he met with President Michael D. Higgins and his wife Sabina.
The arrival of ReBo’s March 31st deadline sees a significant wave of credit union mergers in the offing over the coming months. During his trip to attend the December ReBo Board meeting Chairman Bobby McVeigh visited two credit unions who completed mergers in 2015. Bobby was welcomed in both Monaleen & Plassey Credit Unions who merged with Affinity & Tipperary Credit Unions respectively.

Over the last number of weeks a number of ReBo assisted projects have completed. Kenmare and Killarney credit unions have successfully merged. St. Patrick’s (E.S.B. Staff) have merged with St. Laurence O’Toole’s and Pearse credit unions. Clonmel and Mullinahone have also completed their merger.
